Attribute #7: Language and Energy

Explanation: Language can be seen as a medium through which human energy, intentions, and emotions are transmitted. For example, the tone and choice of words can either uplift or drain a person's energy.

By language, we mean more broadly, communication. The importance of good communication can’t be understated. Communication starts with how we speak to ourselves and then moves to how we interact and communicate with the outside world.

Energy is all around us. Humans have four energy bodies; mental energy, emotional energy, physical energy, and spiritual energy. The earth exudes energy through all living plants, animals, and the earth’s natural resources.

"If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration."  -Nikola Tesla, Engineer, Futurist and Inventor

Difference from Traditional Orthodoxy: Traditional orthodoxy in language often refers to the established norms and rules that govern linguistic communication. This could involve grammar, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics—how language is used to convey meaning within a culture.

Traditional orthodoxy of energy generally refers to the long-established views and practices regarding energy production, consumption, and policy that have dominated for much of the 20th and 21st centuries.

Traditional orthodoxy of language and energy often refers to the established, often unquestioned norms and practices in how language and energy are understood, transmitted, and applied across different contexts—whether in the natural sciences, cultural practices, or spiritual traditions.

Key Question: To what extent do you have awareness of the four human energy bodies and how you use them in your personal and professional life?

Practical Application: Pay attention to the words you use to communicate with the outside world as well as to yourself and reflect on if the words you are using empower or disempower you and others.

Make a list of the characteristics and qualities of each of your four energy bodies: mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Have your awareness on cultivating, being responsible for, and strengthening your four energy bodies and empower those around you to do the same.
